Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

By reading and using RecordNests, you're agreeing to the points below. Nothing unusual here — it's mostly common sense, written down so both of us know where we stand.

What this site is

RecordNests publishes reviews, buying guides and project ideas aimed at students and makers. Everything here is our genuine opinion based on research and, where possible, hands-on testing — but it's still opinion, not professional or financial advice. Always check current specs and pricing directly with the retailer before buying.

No guarantee of accuracy

We do our best to keep specs, prices and availability up to date, but tech products change fast — prices move, models get discontinued, specs get revised. We can't guarantee that everything on this site is accurate at the exact moment you're reading it. If something looks wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.

Affiliate links and advertising

This site earns money through Google AdSense and affiliate links (including the Amazon Associates Program). Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Using an affiliate link doesn't cost you anything extra.

Using our content

Articles, images we've created, and the site design belong to RecordNests. You're welcome to link to our pages or quote a short excerpt with credit and a link back, but please don't copy whole articles onto another site without asking us first.

Third-party sites

Links to Amazon, DJI, B&H Photo and other retailers or manufacturers take you off our site to a page we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, pricing, stock, or how they handle your data once you're there.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is." We're not liable for any loss or damage arising from a decision you make based on something you read here — including a purchase that doesn't turn out the way you hoped. Use your own judgement, and treat our reviews as one input among several before buying anything.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page occasionally as the site grows. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
