How do I activate my Chrome extension?
After signing up, go to your dashboard and click "License Key" in the sidebar. Copy your unique key (format: RN-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). Then install RecordNest from the Chrome Web Store, click the icon in your toolbar, go to Settings, paste your license key, and click Activate. Done!
My license key is not working — what should I do?
Make sure you are copying the full key including the "RN-" prefix. The key is case-sensitive. If the issue persists, try signing out of the extension and re-entering the key. Contact us if the problem continues.
Why are my recordings saved locally and not to the cloud?
Cloud storage is available on the Basic ($5/mo) and Professional ($25/mo) plans. On the free Starter plan, all captures save to your local device. Upgrade your plan in the dashboard under Billing & Plans to enable cloud storage.
How do I convert a WebM recording to MP4?
In the RecordNest extension, open your recording and click "Convert to MP4". This feature is available on Basic and Professional plans. The conversion happens in your browser — no external tools needed.
What payment methods do you accept?
